Precautions when migrating from UQ mobile to povo2.0

Please be sure to check the following before proceeding.

Transfer of contract information

●During the transition, the contract information (gender, contact phone number, contract validity, etc.) that you registered with UQ mobile will not be carried over as contract information when applying for povo2.0.

Regarding payment methods for usage fees

● UQ mobile payment method cannot be carried over. You will need to set up a new payment method (credit card information).

● It is not possible to integrate payments for povo2.0 with payments for other lines or communication services (au consolidated billing, KDDI consolidated billing, J:COM consolidated billing, etc.).

About SIM

● When switching to povo2.0, you will need to change your SIM (including if you are using an eSIM).

About carrier email addresses (@au.com / @ezweb.ne.jp / @uqmobile.jp email addresses)

● If you wish to continue using the carrier email address (@ezweb.ne.jp/ @au.com) you were using with au after the transition povo2.0, you will need to apply separately.
Please note that if you do not apply within the application validity (within 31 days after the transition to povo2.0), the data in the mail server will be deleted. For details, Here
*To apply, you will need au ID issued based on your au line contract.

● Your carrier email address will be deleted from the contact email address for your au ID, so please change it to an email address other than your carrier email address.

● You will not be able to continue using the carrier email address (@uqmobile.jp) you used with UQ mobile.

If a minor continues to use the service

● When changing to povo2.0, parental consent is required again.

Compatible devices

● UQ mobile and povo2.0 support different devices. Please check in advance whether the device you plan to use is compatible with povo2.0.

● When switching to povo2.0, you may need to unlock your SIM. Please check the au website for details on how to unlock your SIM.

Services that cannot be used with povo2.0

● With au PAY (auかんたん決済) on povo2.0, there are some services that cannot be used, such as au PAY charge.
If you change brands from au or UQ mobile, the upper limit may be reduced.

● The following services are not available with povo2.0.
Call waiting, three-way calling, and spam call blocking services

●The voicemail service you were using before the transition cannot be continued. Please note that messages stored on our equipment will be deleted. You can apply for the voicemail service with povo2.0 after completing your contract for the povo2.0 communication service.

● povo2.0 does not offer the following services or discounts.

Home set discount, family set discount, au PAY card payment discount, etc.

● povo2.0 does not offer the support services offered by UQ mobile.

Reliable support pack, reassurance support, remote operation support, location search support, usage support, in-store setup support

●To use the data storage service, you must have a Ponta Pass Lite/Ponta Pass contract. Please note that if you do not have a Ponta Pass Lite/Ponta Pass contract, your data will be deleted.

● Due to the transition to povo2.0, the following benefits will no longer be available.
Ponta Pass data recovery support, au car insurance discount benefits, au iDeCo point benefits, etc.

● Your au HOME contract will be automatically canceled. If you are using installment payments, a cancellation fee will be charged as specified in the au HOME Service Terms of Use. To continue using the service, you will need to sign up for a new contract. In that case, an initial fee of 2,200 yen will be charged.

In addition to those stated in this document, discounts and benefits that are conditional on having UQ mobile line contract may be terminated upon transfer.

Regarding UQ mobile usage fees and data capacity for the month of switching from UQ mobile to povo2.0

● UQ mobile usage fees are calculated on a pro rata basis according to the number of days of use.

*Some fees and discounts may not be calculated on a pro rata basis.

●Some discount services may not apply.

● Any remaining monthly data capacity with UQ mobile cannot be used with povo2.0.

● Data Topping purchased from UQ mobile (Unlimited data 24 hours, Data Top-up) cannot be used with povo2.0.

Note 3: You will be initially charged the undiscounted fees, but the amount will be refunded from the following month onwards by deducting it from other fees.

Others

●You will continue to make installment payments for the device, and installment payments will continue to be charged using your current payment method.

● If you combine payments for UQ mobile and electricity services, electricity service fees will continue to be billed using your current payment method.

● If you are subscribed to various device compensation services* with UQ mobile, these will continue automatically even after changing to the povo2.0 plan. If you wish to cancel your contract, you will need to go through the cancellation procedure.
