povo Expands “povo Data Oasis” Service to Railway Stations in the Kanto Region Limited-time offer: Eligible routes will expand in phases at stations where Mobile PASMO is available

KDDI Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Matsuda), the PASMO Council, and PASMO Co., Ltd. will begin offering "povo Data Oasis," which provides free povo2.0 mobile data at select locations within private railway stations in the Kanto region where Mobile PASMO is available. The service will be available for a limited time starting April 14, 2026.
In the first phase, all stations operated by Tokyo Metro, Keisei Electric Railway, and Sagami Railway will be added as eligible locations. The service will be expanded in phases, covering more routes by fall 2026.
With "povo Data Oasis," users can easily top up data at stations they use daily for commuting to work or school, as well as at stations they visit while out. The service supports mobile data usage during travel with Mobile PASMO.
KDDI Corporation, the PASMO Council, and PASMO Co., Ltd. will continue to expand eligible routes and stations for "povo Data Oasis" and strive to provide services that support customers' mobility and daily lives.

■How to Use

At eligible stations, open the dedicated page in the povo2.0 app and log in with your povo account (required only the first time). Once your location is confirmed as being at an eligible station, 0.1 GB (valid for 24 hours) will be added to your account immediately.

■What is povo2.0?

povo2.0 is a prepaid service provided by KDDI. You can use it with a monthly base fee of 0 yen*. Since povo2.0 utilizes the reliable au network, you'll have access to au's high-speed 5G network. We offer a variety of options, including cost-effective bulk purchases, monthly plans, and short-term unlimited data plans. You can top up your data allowance exactly when and how much you need, allowing you to use the service efficiently and tailor it to your lifestyle.

■What is povo Data Oasis?

This is a program that allows you to receive 0.1 GB of data (valid for 24 hours) for free each time you access a special website from your smartphone at specific locations, up to a maximum of 10 times per month (for a total of 1 GB). The data you receive can be used with povo2.0.

■What is PASMO?

Since its launch in 2007, the transportation IC card "PASMO" has continued to provide a variety of services to meet customers' needs in all aspects of daily life, starting with train and bus fares. As of the end of March 2026, 46.75 million cards are in circulation. The 27 railway operators and 31 bus operators that operate the PASMO system are members of the PASMO Council, and they have entrusted the operation of PASMO services and system development to PASMO Co., Ltd. Mobile PASMO launched on March 18, 2020, and has since added support for "Apple Pay" and "Google Pay," making it available to a growing number of customers.
