Starting July 23, 2025, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will begin offering "povo AI" a free service that allows all povo2.0 users to use ChatGPT and Perplexity AI models within the povo2.0 app. Customers with povo2.0 contracts will be able to use high-performance AI models such as GPT-4o and Perplexity Sonar Pro an unlimited number of times.
The app introduces various use cases so that customers can use it to improve the efficiency of their daily lives and work in accordance with their own lifestyles. Anyone can easily use the AI generator, simply by selecting the use case that best suits their problem.
povo takes advantage of the strengths of online services to provide personalized services to each individual customer through simple and speedy fees, and by utilizing "Topping" that allow customers to freely customize options such as data communication and unlimited calls to suit their individual needs, all for a basic fee of 0 yen.
Going forward, we will continue to provide povo AI and incorporate functions into povo2.0 that support our customers' lifestyles, working to enrich not only our communications services but also our customers' daily lives.
