povo Wins First Place in the Online-Only Brand/Plan Category of the JD Power 2025 Mobile Phone Service Customer Satisfaction Study℠ for the Second Consecutive Year

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce that their online-only brand, povo has been awarded first place in overall satisfaction for the second consecutive year in the online-only brand/plan category of the "JD Power 2025 Mobile Phone Service Customer Satisfaction Study℠" (hereinafter referred to as "this Survey" (Note)), conducted by JD Power Japan, Inc.

The survey targets smartphone users aged 18 to 74 and reveals their overall satisfaction with mobile phone services, divided into four categories: major carriers, value carriers, MVNOs, and online-only brands/plans, based on an evaluation of five factors: communication quality, various costs, service menu, devices provided, and procedures/support.
In the online-only brand/plan category, povo received the highest ratings in four factors, including "various fees," "service menu," and "procedures and support," as in 2024, and "communication quality" in 2025, placing it first in overall satisfaction by category.

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will continue to work hard to provide services that satisfy our customers.
