KDDI Corporation
KDDI Digital Life Co., Ltd.
Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd.
KDDI, KDDI Digital Life, and Wire and Wireless (hereinafter Wi2) will add a new model of the "FMV Note U" notebook PC sold by Fujitsu Client Computing Limited (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Takeshi Okuma, hereinafter FCCL) to the list of products eligible for "ConnectIN povo" (Note 1), which integrates communication into various products and services such as PCs and IoT devices and provides them to individual users, starting October 22, 2026.
This product is an "FMV ConnectIN povo" compatible model that allows you to use 5G/4G LTE communication on au network provided by povo2.0 (Note 2). After purchase, you can use data communication simply by registering a povo2.0 account (Note 3). In addition to povo2.0 's data capacity, it also incorporates the public Wi-Fi service "Gigazo Wi-Fi" provided by Wi2, making it easier to secure a stable communication environment even when you are out or on the go, and improving your freedom of work. Furthermore, since the communication service is included in the product itself, you can use it without incurring any monthly fixed fees.
povo2.0 offers data capacity for up to 3 years, with three options to choose from: 100GB (approximately 33GB per year), 500GB (approximately 167GB per year), and 1TB (approximately 333GB per year). It caters to a wide range of needs, from those who want to try it out to those who frequently travel or go on business trips and use their PCs on the go. You can also purchase additional data capacity for days when you use your PC for extended periods while away from the office or during months when your usage is particularly high.
Furthermore, as a special benefit for customers using "FMV ConnectIN povo" or HP Japan's communication service "HP eSIM Connect LITE by povo" and who have a contract for the internet service "au Hikari Plus" and its paid option "Wi-Fi Pack," we will provide a monthly povo2.0 promo code for a "Unlimited data Bonus (31 days)" (Note 4) that can be used on ConnectIN povo compatible PCs for up to three years. By using "au Hikari Plus" at home and "ConnectIN povo" when you're out, we will provide a comfortable communication environment depending on the situation.
KDDI, KDDI Digital Life, and Wi2 will continue to utilize povo SDK (Software Development Kit) mechanism to integrate povo 's communication service, which allows users to select and purchase the data they need, into a variety of devices.
