KDDI Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Matsuda; hereinafter referred to as KDDI), KDDI Digital Life Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsuya Hamada; hereinafter referred to as KDDI Digital Life), the PASMO Council, and PASMO Co., Ltd. will add all stations of the following nine operators to the list of locations where "povo Data Oasis" can be used, starting August 25, 2026: Saitama Rapid Railway, Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company, Seibu Railway, Tama Monorail, Chiba Urban Monorail, Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, Toyo Rapid Railway, Hokuso Railway, and Yokohama City Transportation Bureau.
Including the 11 operators that have already launched the service, a total of 954 stations across 20 operators will be included as target locations. We plan to expand the service to approximately 1,300 stations in total, including private railway stations in the Kanto region, by October 2026.
"povo Data Oasis" is a service offered by KDDI that allows users of the prepaid service "povo2.0" to receive up to 1GB of data capacity free of charge each month. It can be easily used by accessing a special website from a povo2.0 device at designated locations, including private railway stations in the Kanto region. By making it easy to receive data at stations you use daily for commuting or school, or at stations you visit, it supports communication when using mobile PASMO or when traveling by train with free data.
This service allows you to access a special website from your smartphone at designated locations and receive 0.1GB of free data per visit (24 hours), up to a maximum of 10 times per month (1GB total). The charged data can be used with povo2.0.

5. How to Use
Access the dedicated page from the povo2.0 app at the designated station and log in with povo account for the first time only. After confirming your visit to the designated station using your location information, "0.1GB (24 hours)" will be added immediately.

Since its launch in 2007, the PASMO transportation IC card has continued to provide a variety of services to enable customers to use it in all aspects of their daily lives, including train and bus tickets. As of the end of June 2026, 47.27 million cards are in circulation. 27 railway companies and 31 bus companies that operate the PASMO system are members of the PASMO Council, and the operation of PASMO services and system development are entrusted to PASMO Co., Ltd. Mobile PASMO service started on March 18, 2020, and has been gradually expanded to support Apple Pay and Google Pay, and is now used by many customers.
