What is call forwarding service?

This service forwards incoming calls to another registered phone number.

・You can also forward calls to other companies' mobile phones and landlines.
- You can select the conditions for forwarding, such as forwarding when you cannot answer the phone, or forwarding calls that come in while you are on the phone.
・When setting up for the first time, you will need to set a PIN number in advance.

・Call forwarding service cannot be used in conjunction with voicemail service, and voicemail service will be stopped when call forwarding service is activated.
If you wish to use the voicemail service, please restart the service.

Transfer Type

Full Transfer Forwards all incoming calls.
(If full forwarding is set, your phone will not be called.)
No answer/busy call forwarding Forward incoming calls when you cannot answer them.
(If you receive a call while no answer or busy call forwarding is set, you can answer the call while the ringtone is ringing.)

* "Full forwarding" and "No answer forwarding/busy call forwarding" cannot be set at the same time.

How to use

*App version 1.36.0 or later is required to use this feature.
*When setting up for the first time, you will need to set a "PIN" in advance. For details on setting a "PIN", click here

* If you cancel the call forwarding service, the voicemail service will also be canceled. Please see here for instructions on how to restart the voicemail service.
*After dialing the special number and listening to the guidance to the end, the message "Connection Unable" may appear on your iPhone screen. In this case, please rest assured that the operation was completed successfully.

You can disable the call forwarding service from other KDDI line mobile phones (au /UQ/ povo1.0 / povo2.0 /other MVNOs), landlines, overseas phones, etc.

Follow the guidance

*You will need your PIN to perform this operation.
* If you enter the wrong PIN three times in a row, the call will be disconnected.
*Remote control uses push-tones. Remote control cannot be performed using a phone that cannot send push-tones.

If you have set up no-answer call forwarding, you can set the time between when a call comes in to your povo2.0 mobile phone and when the call is forwarded, from 5 to 55 seconds.

Change the transfer time 1418XX
Enter the number of seconds (05 to 55) you want to set in XX.

If the number of seconds is a single digit, enter 1418X.
(Example: To set it to 5 seconds, call 14185)

*The default setting is 24 seconds.
*You can change the ring time from "Call Settings" on the device settings screen.

  • Some calls, such as calls from emergency call receiving agencies (110, 119, 118), may not be forwarded.
  • When setting up for the first time, you will need to set a PIN number in advance.
  • If you forward a call from the forwarding phone to a povo2.0 mobile phone, the calls may be forwarded repeatedly and you may not be able to receive the call. Please be careful when registering the forwarding phone number.
  • You may not be able to transfer calls from the destination phone to another phone.
  • Call forwarding is not available via international telephone services, and may not be possible with some international telephone carriers.
  • If you purchase or cancel the voicemail service Topping, the call forwarding service will be suspended.
