Important Notice

  • Notes when canceling

    The contract will be cancelled on the day the cancellation request is made or the day after*. Please note that you will not be able to use the service from the time of cancellation. If you have subscribed to Topping, which incurs a monthly fee of fees, in addition to the basic plan subscription, your subscription will be automatically cancelled upon cancellation of the basic plan subscription. No other cancellation fee will be charged.

    *If you apply for cancellation between 8:00 PM and 9:30 AM, cancellations will be processed in order from 9:30 AM onwards.

    <Regarding refunds>
    If you cancel mid-month, you will be charged for Topping you continue to purchase as follows:

    • ・Call Topping: Full charge
    • ・Smartphone breakdown support*: Prorated charges up to the day before the cancellation date will be billed the following month. However, from July 1, 2023, for the time being, we will not charge fees if you cancel in the middle of the month.

    *We have stopped accepting new applications as of July 31, 2023.

    <About data backup>
    Please back up all data, including settings information, yourself. Please use cloud services, SD cards, etc.

    <About obtaining an MNP reservation number>

    • ・Applications for issuing MNP reservation numbers can be made 24 hours a day.
    • ・After you apply, you will be notified of your MNP reservation number between 7:00 and 21:30.
    • ・(If you apply between 9:30 PM and 7 AM, we will notify you in order of receipt after 7:30 AM)
    • ・Please note that you will not be able to obtain an MNP reservation number on the contract start date.

    <About early contract cancellation (8-day cancellation)>
    povo2.0 communication service is subject to early contract cancellation. Please see here for information on early contract cancellation (8-day cancellation).
    Also, please contact povo support to cancel your contract early (8-day cancellation).

    <About invoices>
    After cancellation, you will no longer be able to log in to the povo2.0 app, so if you need an invoice, please download it from the app before canceling.
    Alternatively, until the February 2026 bill (January usage), we will send you an invoice attached to the billing email we send you on the 10th to 12th of each month, so you can check the invoice in the email we send you even after canceling.
    From the March 2026 billing (February usage) onwards, invoices will not be attached to billing emails. If you would like to receive an invoice for the March 2026 billing or later after canceling your subscription, please apply using the invoice issuance application form. An invoice will be sent to you by email at a later date.
