povo wins first place in customer satisfaction for the third consecutive year in the 2026 JCSI mobile phone category.

KDDI, Okinawa Cellular, and KDDI Digital Life are pleased to announce that our online-only brand povo has ranked first in the mobile phone category (nine brands including major carriers and online-only brands) in the "Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index (JCSI) Survey 2026"* conducted by the Japan Productivity Center, Service Industry Productivity Council. (Note) in the cell phone category (9 brands including major carriers and online-only brands) for the third consecutive year, following the fiscal years 2024 and 2025. In addition, the company ranked first in six indicators: customer expectations, perceived quality, perceived value, customer satisfaction, intention to recommend, and loyalty.

Offered since 2021, povo2.0 has been well-received for its flexible usage tailored to customers' lifestyles, thanks to its 0 yen basic fees and a wide range of optional Topping that allow users to choose the amount of data they want to use and validity of their Topping, as well as various products and services bundled with data. In recent years, we have also introduced new usage styles, such as the "Giga Charge Card" which allows users to purchase data with cash, and "povo Data Oasis" which offers free povo2.0 data at specific locations.
