Service Introduction

If you are using povo2.0, you can get up to 1GB of data added free of charge each month by obtaining location information with your povo2.0 device in a location where povo Data Oasis is available.
Furthermore, as of January 16, 2026, the usage procedure has been simplified, and it can now be used in just 3 taps when using the app. Click here for details.

Places where you can charge

LAWSON nationwide
- Private railway stations in the Kanto region (all stations of "Tokyo Metro," "Keisei Electric Railway," and "Sagami Railway" will be included from 10:00 AM on April 14, 2026)

*The number of routes covered will be gradually expanded by around autumn 2026.
*The stations on the Hokuso Line are not included in the Keisei Electric Railway's Narita Sky Access Line.

*Depending on the location, network conditions, and the device's location information usage during charging, this service may not be available.

Cases where this service cannot be used

- If location services are not enabled, you will not be able to use this service (you need to enable location services in both your device settings and your browser settings).
If your Wi-Fi connection is unstable, you may not be able to use the service, so please turn off Wi-Fi.
Depending on your location, the service may not be available. Please try again in a different location.
- This service may not be available in commercial facilities or underground areas.
・In addition, service may not be available in certain areas due to location, radio wave conditions, facilities, corporate premises, or train stations.
Due to the opening or relocation of some locations, some of these locations may be unavailable for up to one month.
If you engage in fraudulent activities such as tampering with location information, you will be excluded from this service.
- This service may not be available on devices that do not support GPS.
This service is not available on Apple Watch.

Precautions

This service may be changed without notice, and we will notify you in advance if we terminate this service.
●If we determine that fraudulent or inappropriate activity has occurred, you will not be eligible for this service.
●We cannot be held responsible if you are unable to receive the benefits due to network congestion or malfunctions or system maintenance.
●Even if you are unable to receive the benefit due to your own circumstances, the benefit will not be provided again.
●The customer will be responsible for any costs incurred in the process of receiving the benefits of this service (including, but not limited to, internet communication charges, etc.).
In accordance with the Civil Code, the Company may change the contents of the Terms of Use by publicizing them in a manner that the Company deems appropriate, such as by posting them in advance on the Service Site, etc. If the Terms of Use are changed, the changed terms will apply between all customers and the Company from the date of change onwards.
●If any reason arises that hinders the proper operation of this service, if a similar situation arises, or if any other reason arises that makes it difficult to continue this service, we may cancel or postpone the implementation of this service at any time.
●We are not responsible for any damage or disadvantage caused by customers' use of the benefits.
●Notwithstanding any other provisions in the Terms of Use, even if we are liable for damages in connection with this service, the scope of our liability shall be limited to direct and actual damages (excluding lost profits) that would normally arise, except in cases where we are guilty of intentional or gross negligence.
Any disputes arising in relation to this service or benefits shall be submitted to the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction.
● If you sign up for a new povo2.0 contract through povo shop
・The only plan available is "Data Only."
・You will need to purchase the first Topping when signing the contract. For details on Topping that are eligible, Here
・Calls and SMS are not available.
・You cannot switch from another carrier (MNP).
・Available only domestically.
・Only eSIM is available.
・A separate line capable of making voice calls and receiving SMS is required.
・This event is for people aged 13 and over.

●If multiple data items are added, the data with the earliest validity will be consumed first, and validity of the data will not be extended.
●If you do not purchase any paid Topping for more than 180 days, your service may be suspended or your contract may be terminated.
● validity will be counted as one day for every 24 hours that passes from the time of purchase completion.
●If the data capacity reaches 0GB, the communication speed will be a maximum of 128kbps for sending and receiving.
●If you use a large amount of data within a certain validity, your data speed will be limited during peak hours.
This service is a best-effort service. The speeds listed are the maximum speeds based on the technical specifications and do not represent actual usage speeds. Even within the service area, speeds may be significantly reduced depending on the customer's usage environment, line conditions, etc.
●If you do not purchase any paid Topping for 180 days from the day after validity of your last purchased paid Topping, your service will be suspended one by one (in the case of Calls+Data, this does not apply if the total amount of unmetered call charges and SMS sending charges during validity exceeds 660 yen).
If you continue to not purchase any paid Topping for 30 days after your service is suspended, your contract will be terminated.
If your service is suspended or your contract is terminated, we will notify you in advance by email or SMS, which is your povo account, with details.
●If you have a contract for 5 lines* under the same name, a contract administration fee of 3,850 yen per line will be charged for the 6th line and beyond. *This includes lines that have been terminated or canceled by us within the past year.
